2025 Korea-Africa Unicorn Acceleration Program Orientation

On February 11th (Tuesday), the Korea-Africa Foundation held the orientation for the 2025 Korea-Africa Unicorn Acceleration Program.

Seven startups selected for this year's program, representing various fields such as environment, tourism, agriculture, education, and construction, attended and added to the event's significance. During the orientation, participants were briefed on the Foundation's business support initiatives and the details of the program, and received an overview of the African and Moroccan startup markets. Furthermore, through networking among the participating startups, they discussed potential collaboration strategies for successful entry into the African market, pledging their active participation.

The goal of this program is for the participating startups to build African business partnerships through activities such as market expansion, investment attraction, and partnership agreements at GITEX Africa 2025, which will be held from April 14th (Monday) to 16th (Friday). To support this, the Foundation will strengthen the global capabilities of the startups through the acceleration program in Korea and assist in generating successful outcomes through pre-arranged business matching. At GITEX Africa, activities will include △running the Korea Pavilion, △business matching, and participation in Africa's largest startup investment competition, the △Supernova Challenge.
