2025 Korean Association of African Studies International Conference Sponsored

The Korea-Africa Foundation sponsored the Korean Association of African Studies International Conference, held from October 31 (Friday) to November 1 (Saturday) at Jeonbuk National University. This conference was organized through a special collaboration between the Korean Association of African Studies (President: Cho Hwa-rim) and the Japan Association for African Studies (President: Takeuchi Shinichi).

The conference, themed "Expanding the Asian Perspective in African Studies," was composed of five sessions: Civil Society, Culture, Political Economy, Foreign Policy, and the Next Generation of Scholars. A total of 22 researchers from Korea, Japan, and Africa participated as presenters.
