UNESCO-KAIST Expert Workshop Participation

The Korea-Africa Foundation attended the UNESCO-KAIST Expert Workshop held on Friday, November 21, at KAIST.
This workshop, organized under the theme of “AI and Neurotech for Africa,” 

was convened by UNESCO and KAIST to promote innovation in Africa’s education and research environments and to explore science- and technology-based solutions to social challenges.

During the event, various agenda items were discussed, including the potential application of AI and neurotechnology in African contexts and innovations in education.
The workshop particularly focused on sustainable development cooperation for African countries, built upon the synergy between KAIST’s scientific and technological expertise and UNESCO’s experience in international cooperation.

Through its participation, the Korea-Africa Foundation shared the importance of Korea?Africa cooperation in the fields of science and technology and had a meaningful opportunity to explore possibilities for expanding collaboration with international organizations and academic institutions in the future.
