Korea-Africa Foundation Youth Supporters 8th Launch Ceremony

The Korea-Africa Foundation held the launch ceremony and orientation for the 8th Youth Supporters on Wednesday, February 25.

Comprising 24 Korean youth and 6 African youth from Nigeria, Ethiopia, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Tunisia, the 8th Youth Supporters will engage in activities from March to August 2026. Over a six-month period, they will create social media content related to key African issues and the Foundation's projects, and facilitate exchange activities between Korean and African youth.

At this meaningful starting point for their journey ahead, the Youth Supporters gathered together demonstrated more active engagement and passionate interest than ever before.

This year, the Korea-Africa Foundation plans to continuously broaden the horizons of Korea-Africa cooperation. This includes hosting events in conjunction with the Korea-Africa Foreign Ministers' Meeting in June, the 8th Africa Film Festival to be held in a relay format across three cities, and startup support projects. In advancing these meaningful initiatives and raising awareness about Africa, the active participation and role of our Youth Supporters are becoming increasingly vital.

We look forward to the key issues in Korea-Africa cooperation, the scenes of cultural exchange, and the diverse activities of the Foundation that the 8th Youth Supporters will share in 2026.
