The Korea-Africa Foundation(KIM Young-Chae, President of the KAF) held the “Korea-Africa Agri-Food Cooperation Roundtable” at Lotte Hotel Seoul on May 14.
The roundtable was attended by CHOI Jung-Rok, Commissioner of the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency, and H.E. Chafik RACHADI, Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors(Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco), along with around 10 ambassadors from African embassies in Korea, officials from the embassies of 15 African countries, and representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Participants discussed ways to promote Korea-Africa agri-food trade and expand cooperation.
Based on this roundtable, it is expected that exchanges and practical cooperation in the agri-food sector between Korea and Africa will be further strengthened.
