2026 K-Food Egypt Delegation② B2B Export Consultation Meeting Held

The Korea-Africa Foundation jointly held the “2026 K-Food Egypt Delegation” B2B Export Consultation Meeting with the Korea Food Industry Association and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Egypt at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Egypt on Wednesday, May 6.

The “2026 K-Food Egypt Delegation” was organized to support Korean food companies in establishing a foundation for entering the Egyptian market and was carried out in cooperation with the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Korea. A total of 16 Korean food companies participated in the delegation, including Nokchawon Co.,Ltd, Nongshim Co., Ltd., Nutrione Co., Ltd., DAMWOO Agricultural Co., Ltd., Damtuh F&B, Daesang Corporation, Dairyzen Co., LTD, Binggrae Co., Ltd., Sempio Foods Company, SWEETDEO Co., Ltd., CM F&B Co., Ltd., YOUNG POONG Co., Ltd., ORION CORP, Dr.Chung’s Food, Paris Croissant Co., Ltd., and PNFood System Co.,Ltd.

The B2B export consultation meeting was organized to provide direct business networking opportunities between Korean food companies and Egyptian buyers. A total of approximately 80 participants from 51 organizations attended the meeting, including major retail chains, restaurant franchises, F&B service platforms, logistics companies, and distributors in Egypt.

Participating companies conducted one-on-one consultations with local buyers and discussed product characteristics, export potential, distribution methods, certification and customs clearance procedures, and local consumer responses. A total of approximately 160 consultation sessions were conducted during the event, through which participating companies identified local demand and potential areas for cooperation in entering the Egyptian food market.
