‘2026 Korea-Africa Foreign Ministers’ Meeting: D-1 Roundtable’ Held
On Saturday 30 May, the day before the ‘2026 Korea-Africa Foreign Ministers’ Meeting’ which began on 31 May, the Foundation, in collaboration with the Korean Association for African Studies and the Korean Association for International Relations, hosted the <> to examine the importance of enhancing Korea-Africa relations and strategies for cooperation.
The roundtable took place as a morning special session of the ‘2026 Korea-Africa First Half Academic Conference’.
During this roundtable, keynote presentations and panel discussions were led by former Ambassadors to Africa, who have worked tirelessly on the ground for many years to foster relations between Korea and Africa, and new strategic directions and implications for cooperation were discussed, focusing on key themes such as supply chains, energy, critical minerals and public diplomacy.
