On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the Korea-Africa Foundation (KAF) visited the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) in Johannesburg, South Africa, and held a meeting with Ms. Elizabeth Sidiropoulos, Chief Executive, along with other representatives.

During the meeting, the participants reviewed the current status of the Young Professionals in Africa (YPA) Program and discussed ways to improve its operation. They also exchanged views on establishing a long-term framework for institutional cooperation and expanding collaboration through joint research and knowledge exchange.

The Foundation will continue to strengthen its network of partnerships with leading African institutions and actively support the enhancement of Korean youth's expertise on Africa while laying the foundation for sustainable cooperation.
