2026 AfCFTA Startup Partnership Program Orientation

On 8th September, the Korea-Africa foundation held an Orientation for 2026 AfCFTA startup partnership program.

AfCFTA startup partnership program was launched for the first time this year in order to promote exchanges between Korean-African startups and build an economic-cooperative ecosystem. 

The Orientation was organized for the 30 startups who has been selected based on document screening and presentation evaluation. It featured introductions to AfCFTA Secretariat and Korea-Africa foundation followed by Acceleration program and Korean startup ecosystem tour program.

The 30 startups will be participating in the Acceleration program and Top 15 startups will be selected through Demo day scheduled in October. Top 15 startups will have the chance to visit Korea in December and participate in programs such as Korean startup ecosystem tour and the 2026 COME UP festival.
