The Korea-Tanzania Business Forum, co-hosted by the Korea-Africa Foundation, the Embassy of Tanzania in Korea, and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held in great success.

The business forum, which focused on the Tanzania drug/medical device market, was attended by key government agencies in charge of policy and operation of the Tanzania medical market, including the Tanzania Investment Center (TIC), the Drug Procurement Agency (MSD), and the Food and Drug Administration (TFDA), to provide practical information directly with 60 Korean companies.

Tanzania, called the roof of Africa, plays an important role in revitalizing the region's economy as a gateway to neighboring inland countries as well as a member of the East African Community (EAC) and the South African Community (SADC).
