The Korea-Africa Foundation held the 2nd Model African Union Assembly (MAUA) from Friday, November 1 to Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the National Assembly in Seoul. The delegates of the 2nd MAUA made presentations and discussions on the following agendas.

Agenda 1: African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA): Effective Implementation and Challenges

Agenda 2: Role of the African Union (AU) in Resolving Issues of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Forced Migration

At the end of the Assembly, exceptional delegates were awarded. The awarded teams were the delegates of Senegal and Sierra Leone for the President of the Korea-Africa Foundation award, delegates of Angola and Ivory Coast for the Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors award, delegates of Nigeria and Tanzania for the President of the Parliamentary Diplomacy Forum on Africa award and the delegates of Kenya for the Foreign Minister’s award.
