The 3rd Model African Union Assembly

The Korea-Africa Foundation hosted the 3rd Model African Union Assembly (MAUA) from Friday, November 13 to Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the National Assembly. A total of 35 Korean youths representing 18 African countries had presentations and discussions on the following agendas.

Agenda 1: The Current Status and Ways Forward of Silencing the Guns by 2020 Initiative.

Agenda 2: The Role of the African Union in Achieving the Goal of Universal Health Coverage in the Era of COVID-19.

At the end of the assembly, seven delegates were awarded. The awarded teams included the delegates of Zambia for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs award, delegates of Ivory Coast and Ethiopia for the National Assembly’s Africa New Era Forum award, delegates of Sudan and South Africa for the African Group of Ambassadors award and the delegates of Algeria and Tunisia for the Korea-Africa Foundation Presidential award.
