Africa Business Webinar [Current Status and Prospects of Climate Change Industry in Africa]

The Korea-Africa Foundation and the Korea International Trade Association hosted the Africa Business Webinar under the theme, “Current Status and Prospects of Climate Change Industry in Africa”. In the first session, the Chief of K Weather, Ban Ki-seong and Dr. Jang Hyun-sook of the Korea International Trade Association presented on the topic, “Africa’s Efforts to Fight against Climate Change and its Implications”.

In the second session, a senior researcher at the Korea Energy Economics Institute, Lee Sung-Kyu, the chief researcher at the POSCO Research Institute, Seo Sang-Hyun, and the CEO of Yolk, Chang Sungun, presented on the topic “Climate Change and Business Cooperation between Korea and Africa” and discussed ways to boost Korea-Africa cooperation in various fields such as renewable energy, secondary battery materials and solar energy.
