2022 Korea-Africa Youth Forum in Busan

2022 Korea-Africa Youth Forum was held on Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15 in P.ARK, Yeongdo District, Busan. The forum was held under the theme of “Green Transformation and Marine Conservation for a Sustainable Future.”

Amb. Lim Jae-hoon, the Vice President of the Korea-Africa Foundation and Chung Jong-pil, Secretary General of the Busan Foundation for International Cooperation encouraged youth participants to share their ideas on the key roles of young generations to protect the environment.

Oluwaseyi Moejoh, Co-founder of the U-Recycle Initiative Africa was invited to give a keynote speech with the topic of "Catalyzing Youth Action for Green Transformation and Marine Conservation." She asked for youth participants to take actions, highlighting 'Voice and actions of youth remain a critical tool', 'We have No planet B' and 'Little actions count and can build up to big impacts'.
