On October 14, the president of the Korea-Africa Foundation, Lyeo Woon-ki, attended and gave a welcoming speech at a jointly hosted international academic conference by Korea-Africa Foundation, Korean Association of African Studies, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 'Africa's Present and Future'. President Lyeo encouraged listeners about the discussion on this conference of 'Africa's Future Energy Environment' and 'African Election and Democracy' being the main topics. He also requested attention and participation from researchers and experts on the 'Seoul Dialogue on Africa', which is expected to be held in December.
