The President of the Korea-Africa Foundation, Lyeo, Woon-Ki, had a luncheon meeting with the President of the Korean Association of African Studies, Choi, Dong-Ju, and the Director of the Institute of African Studies, Park, Jeong-Kyung, to exchange opinions regarding expansion of studies of Africa by Korea and Asia.

The two organizations agreed to expand practical cooperation, such as co-hosting a symposium and continually supporting Korean scholars majoring in African studies.
