Application Due Date

Who can apply?
- Must have citizenship in one of the countries located on African continent, and currently residing in the country of citizenship
- Must be at least 19 years old as of January 1, 2024
- Must be able to communicate and write documents in English or Korean
- Must be available to serve as an AfCC throughout the year
- A person who can demonstrates keen interest in the political, economic, and socio-cultural trends of the African continent/region/country and in promoting relations and exchanges with Korea
※ Former AfCC are not eligible to apply.
What AfCC do?
- Identifying current trends and news in various fields (politics, economics, society, culture, and other areas) related to Africa, as well as activities and local events related to Korea
- Submission of 3 reports per month (analytical report, on-the-scene report, visit & interview, etc.)
- Participation in bi-monthly video conferences
- Supporting key projects of the Korea-Africa Foundation as needed

Benefits
- Activity Allowance (KRW 200,000) per month
- A certificate of participation
※ Outstanding correspondents will have the opportunity to extend their activities into the following year.
