On May 11th (Saturday), the Korea-Africa Foundation hosted a talk concert titled "Movie Chat! Talk Among Sisters Who Know a Bit About Movies" at Cinecube in Seoul as part of the 2024 Africa Film Festival. The event focused on African women as its theme.
The talk concert featured journalists Lee Hwajung, Lee Eunseon, and Na Wonjeong, who discussed Sudan's "Goodbye Julia," Tunisia's "The Needle," Burkina Faso's "Sira," and Morocco's "A Woman in the Shadow." They engaged in conversations about African cinema and women, exploring various perspectives on these films.
