Korean SMEs Delegation to Africa 2024 (South Africa, Tanzania)
The Korea-Africa Foundation recruited a delegation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) interested in the African market, which visited South Africa and Tanzania from July 1 to 6 to conduct market analysis, buyer matching, and export consultations.
In South Africa, the 'K-Lifestyle in Africa 2024' event provided an opportunity for a distribution network tour to understand Africa's distribution structure, export consultations through buyer matching, and a 'Trade Business Forum on Africa' with local Korean businesses. This provided a lively opportunity to share insights on the African business environment, opportunities, challenges, and practical know-how.
In Tanzania, the 'DITF (Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair)' was utilized to conduct export consultations with both online and offline buyers, as well as business meetings, providing an opportunity to understand and assess the Tanzanian market.
Through this visit, the companies that participated in the program achieved significant outcomes, including actual export contracts with buyers and the signing of MoUs. Over the past seven years, the Foundation has supported the entry of small and medium-sized enterprises into the African market through various initiatives. We value your continued support as we continue to develop and expand these efforts.
